Mrs. Esther Koimett was appointed the Principal Secretary, State Department for Transport since August, 2018, from her previous post as the Investment Secretary at the National Treasury.

Mrs. Koimett holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.
